Naši prváci a naše prváčky z tried 1.B a 1.M spolu so svojimi triednymi učiteľkami navštívili Bábkové divadlo na Rázcestí, kde si pozreli predstavenie Great Stories of British History. Predstavenie sa konalo v rámci festivalu participatívneho divadla Edufest.

Herci striedali slovenský a anglický jazyk, čo prinieslo žiakom a žiačkam nielen zábavu, ale aj možnosť precvičiť si jazyk. Na javisku ožili známe postavy – kráľ Artuš so svojím legendárnym mečom, odvážny Robin Hood s veselou družinou a hrdina Beowulf, ktorý sa musel postaviť obávanému Grendelovi.

Predstavenie bolo nielen poučné, ale aj vtipné – žiaci a žiačky sa smiali na veselých scénkach a zároveň sa dozvedeli viac o kultúrnych príbehoch, ktoré formovali britskú históriu.

„Veľké príbehy nám pripomínajú, že kultúra je dobrodružstvo, ktoré sa nikdy nekončí.“

1.B and 1.M at the Theatre: Great Stories of British History

Our first-year students from classes 1.B and 1.M, together with their form teachers, visited the Puppet Theatre Na Rázcestí to enjoy the performance Great Stories of British History.

The actors spoke both Slovak and English, which made the play not only entertaining but also a great opportunity to practice the language. Famous heroes appeared on stage – King Arthur with his legendary sword, the brave Robin Hood with his merry band, and Beowulf facing the terrifying monster Grendel.

The performance was both educational and fun – students laughed at the witty scenes while learning more about the cultural stories that shaped British history.
